Palazzo del Feudatario (Piazza Francesca da Rimini)
The "Palazzo del Feudatario" was built in the second half of the 16th century at the wishes of Count Fabio Landriani, who governed the community of Montefelcino for the Duke of Urbino from 1570 to 1591. It is an imposing building in terracotta bricks. Recent restoration work has restored its original dignified architectural style, with a severe doorway in stone, a monumental fireplace on the first floor and drop ceilings with decorated corbels.
One room of the building contains a small but interesting collection of contemporary graphic art, including artists who are linked to figurative and abstract styles.
It includes works by A. Calavalle, M. Bellagamba, and W. Piacesi as well as some paintings by artists from the Marches, and worthy of note, among other exhibits is a piece by Anselmo Bucci (1887-1955) and a small landscape by Fanese painter Emilio Antonioni (1895-1968).
